Washer Repair — Book a Visit Today

Washers work hard in Texas. Hard water leaves scale on valves and heaters, lint packs the pump, and a bad bearing turns spin cycle into a jet engine. Common failures we see: inlet valves that won't shut off, drain pumps blocked by a sock, worn door seals leaking onto the floor, control boards that freeze mid-cycle, and lid switches that stop everything cold. A visit starts with your description, then we run the machine, listen, check water in and water out, and read any error the board gives us. We explain what part failed and what it takes to fix it before any work begins. Front load or top load, call us and tell us what the machine is doing.

Washer Repair — residential washer being serviced

The washer symptoms we hear most

  • "It won't spin, and my clothes are soaking wet" Drive belt, motor coupler, lid switch, or a clogged drain keeping water in the tub.
  • "There's water all over the laundry room floor" Door boot seal, split hose, cracked pump housing, or an overflowing dispenser.
  • "It bangs and walks across the floor on spin" Worn tub bearing, broken suspension rods or shocks, or unlevel feet.
  • "The tub never fills, or fills forever" Inlet valve scaled shut, screens plugged with grit, or a failed pressure switch.
  • "It stops halfway and beeps at me" Control board fault, door lock switch, or a drain error the machine can't clear.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Unplug the washer, then look for a sock or bra strap sitting in the drain filter or pump access panel.
  • 2Check both fill hoses are open at the wall valves and not kinked behind the machine.
  • 3Push on each corner of the cabinet to see if a foot is off the floor or the machine has drifted.
  • 4Try one empty rinse-and-spin with nothing inside to see if the noise or error repeats.

Washer Repair — quick answers

Is a washer that leaks worth repairing?

Usually yes. Most leaks trace to a hose, a door seal, or a pump housing, and those are replaceable parts. We find the source first, since a puddle can travel far from where it started before you see it.

Why does my water smell bad even after cleaning?

Front loaders trap gunk in the rubber boot folds and the dispenser drawer. Hard water minerals give that film something to cling to. We clean and inspect those areas and check whether the drain line is holding water.

Do you work on front load and top load washers?

Both, plus stacked laundry centers. We're an independent shop and service all major brands. Tell us the brand and roughly how old the machine is when you call us so we bring likely parts along.

How long does a washer repair take?

Many repairs finish in one visit. Pump, valve, belt, and switch work is straightforward. Bearings, boards, and some sealed-tub jobs need a part ordered, and we tell you that up front rather than after we open it.

My washer shakes hard. Is that dangerous?

It can damage the floor, the hoses, and the machine itself. Stop using it for heavy loads. Shaking usually means worn suspension parts or a failing bearing, and both get worse the longer the drum runs off balance.

Should I move the washer out before you arrive?

No need. Just clear a path and move baskets and detergent bottles aside. We pull the machine out ourselves and put it back. If the space is tight, mention it on the phone so we plan for it.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell, or see. Noise, leak, error code, burning odor. Give us the brand and rough age if you know them.

  2. Step 2

    We come look

A technician arrives with common parts on the truck. We test the machine instead of guessing. Then we explain what failed, in plain words, and what the repair takes before anything gets opened up.

  3. Step 3

    You decide, we repair

Nothing gets replaced without your go-ahead. Most repairs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you straight and set a return time that works for your day.

Why homeowners call us

  • Hard water is our specialtyWest Texas scale wrecks dishwashers, ice makers, and water valves. We see it daily. Clogged spray arms, crusted heating elements, inlet screens choked white. We clean and replace the parts that scale eats first.
  • Built for Texas summersHeat pushes refrigerators and freezers hard. Condenser coils pack with dust, compressors run nonstop, garage freezers quit in triple digits. We check cooling systems for heat load, not just for the obvious broken part.
  • Plain talk, no runaroundWe tell you what died and why. If a machine is not worth fixing, we say so. You get the reasoning, not a sales pitch, so you can make the call yourself.
  • Most brands, most machinesWashers, dryers, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, fridges, freezers. We work as an independent shop on all major brands, top load and front load, gas and electric. One call covers the whole laundry room and kitchen.
